Right-hand and left-hand threaded rods are invaluable components in systems requiring precise adjustment and reliable tensioning. Thanks to their unique design, they are suitable for various applications in several industries, while ensuring stability, accuracy and ease of use.
They are mainly used as tensioners to adjust the tension in ropes and connecting rods. The body of the tensioner has one end with a right-hand thread and the other with a left-hand thread. Rotating the body causes the two ends to move either closer together or further apart, adjusting the tension without twisting the connected cables.
Similar to turnbuckles, they are used in applications such as rigging, fencing, and structural bracing to apply tension and maintain stability.
