It is used for patinating fences, gates, railings, grilles, and other wrought products and accessories, giving the product a period look and highlighting irregularities, such as in decorated materials and wrought iron. It is applied with a semi-dry brush to a product that has been previously surface-treated with paint (suitable paints can be found in the section "Home, workshop, garden - Paints, patinas"). If necessary, it can be diluted with a polyvinyl thinner.
